How to dress

Be an onion.

An onion has many layers – same holds true for a common way to dress in Germany. The weather may change quickly within a couple of hours. How to prepare: dress in layers, be an onion! The “Zwiebellook” is convenient and comfy. In winter, tights or long undergarments are often worn underneath jeans. Also, wearing a top, T-shirt and pullover on top of each other is a good idea. This way, the layered look is also cost-effective.

Is there a dress code?

As diverse as the people who live in Germany, as varied are the ways people dress. There are few occasions that demand for a specific dress code, such as work places, weddings or funerals. In everyday life, women and men dress the way they feel like.
