Geography & Climate

Germany is nine times smaller than India but probably as diverse when it comes to climate and geography. The climate is rather moderate. There are four seasons: spring (March to Mai), summer (June to August), autumn (September to November) and winter (December to February). Temperatures can drop to minus 10 in winter and may reach 40°C degrees in the months of summer.

Germany borders to nine countries: Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. In the North it reaches up to the North Sea and Baltic Sea. Beaches, mountains, rivers, countryside, urban hubs – they all shape the face of Germany’s environment.
